SproutLoud - Jobs to Be Done Newsletter

SproutLoud Gives Brands More Control and Makes Managing Social Content Across Distributed Networks Faster and Easier

Welcome back to SproutLoud’s Distributed Marketing Jobs to Be Done newsletter, where we explore how you can use SproutLoud software to accomplish the jobs that need to be done to deliver exceptional local marketing results.

In this issue of our newsletter, we explore a few examples of how SproutLoud helps brands get the right messaging and content to the right audiences at the right time — through networks of distributed users — by giving brands greater control over messaging and making it faster and easier for end users to create and deploy brand-approved social content. These jobs are critical to your brand’s sales and marketing success:

  1. Improved control of brand and messaging through distributed users
    • Locking customization profiles
    • Limiting assets by segment
  2. Expedite speed of content to market
    • Rapid creation of organic social posts
    • Rapid deployment of social posts in automated social marketing programs

(1) Improved Control of Brand and Messaging through Distributed Users

Locking Customization Profiles

The automation of customization profiles is a feature in the SproutLoud platform that gives brands a great deal of control over the information that goes into the profiles of network users. In customizing a profile, the brand can upload information via CSV or API and lock the profile so network users cannot change it. This ensures that network users adhere to the correct information about them during customization. It also makes it easier for users, because they can utilize the same information across customizable assets with one click. As part of that profile, the brand can impact the images in that profile via API.

Limiting Assets by Segment

Regarding managing brand messaging, within SproutLoud’s Contact Management module, we have added the ability for brands to pre-create segments that target specific consumers in their respective databases, then lock the segment to a creative asset. This is called a “restricted asset,” as it may only be used with the restrictive target audience segment. For example, let’s consider an insurance package targeted to people age 65 or older who fall into a given income range. The brand can pre-create a segment for that target audience and lock a specific asset — such as an image that resonates with people 65 and older — so it can only be used with that segment. This ensures that brand assets utilized by distributed users are reaching the intended audience.

(2) Expedite Speed of Content to Market

Rapid Creation of Organic Social Posts

To expedite the creation of organic social posts, brands that already have published content via RSS Feed, an online file designed for sharing newly added content from a website, can now bring that into the SproutLoud platform and use it to create organic social posts. In other words, brands don’t need to create social content from scratch for their distributed users. When a brand already has an RSS Feed populated and published, the brand user can use SproutLoud’s Social Module, point to an RSS Feed and link it, enabling every content item in the feed to be repurposed as an organic social post. Then, that social content will be fed to distributed users for use on their own social channels. By simply refreshing the brand’s RSS Feed, the platform retrieves the latest content and uses it to create social content templates — all within the same system. If a brand updates the content in their RSS feed, those changes would automatically flow downstream through the platform into the organic social post. No additional work required. That’s speed of content to market. It eliminates the need to re-create or duplicate content by repurposing existing content for social.

Rapid Deployment of Social Posts in Automated Marketing Programs

With SproutLoud, it’s faster and easier for brands to also connect one-time social posts to automated social marketing programs that their distributed users subscribe to. Instead of creating a one-time post ready for ordering, then moving to automated social marketing programs to copy and paste that same post, we’ve removed the need for duplication and simplified the process to save time for brand users. Now, any one-time social post can be immediately linked to an existing automated social marketing program, as long as the brand has opted in to make this available to their networks of resellers and end users. This is another way that SproutLoud is making it easier and faster to create, re-use and deploy organic social content across networks of distributed users.
