SproutLoud application and My Web Pages unavailable

In order to prevent similar incidents in the future, we have decoupled the My Web Pages infrastructure from the SproutLoud application. Additionally, the DevOps team has revisited the operating process to adhere to our internal SLAs for high availability switch overs.

One of our database servers experienced a critical failure and our high availability routine didn’t take effect within the expected timeframe. We have isolated the issue and are working to correct it.

The SproutLoud application and My Web Pages are now available and working as expected. We are investigating the exact cause of the downtime and will post a follow-up analysis as soon as possible.
