SproutLoud application SSO unavailable

Upon further analysis, we have confirmed that yesterday’s SSO outage was limited to clients using the REST API for SSO. SAML SSO integrations were not affected by this outage.

As highlighted earlier, we have identified the cause and put processes in place so it does not reoccur.

SSO is now available and working as expected in the SproutLoud application. SSO was unavailable for eleven hours, from 8:30 AM EDT until 19:02 PM EDT. The cause of the issue was related to an expired certificate. We have identified the issue and released a fix for it.

We are still working on a solution for the SSO outage. There was a problem with an expired certificate. The certificate issue has been resolved, however, the system needs to be updated to make use of the new certificate and this is taking longer than expected.

We will provide an update once all systems are updated and working as expected.

We continue to investigate the issues with SSO. Will post an update once we have more information.

We are aware of the reports that SSO is not working for some, and possibly all clients. We are currently looking into the issue and will post an update as soon as possible.
