We discovered that a backup script was accessing our file server over the wrong subnet and caused a spike. We have remedied the networking issue and mitigated any instances of this happening in the future.

The application is now available and working as expected. The application was down for 6 minutes from 2:18 PM EST until 2:24 PM EST. The downtime was caused by a large increase in network traffic between our front and back-end servers. We are investigating the issue in order to prevent this situation in the future. Thank you for your patience during the downtime.
